ISAI Workshop Code of Conduct

1. Purpose All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at our workshop are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe and professional environment for everyone.

The Israeli Systems and AI (ISAI) workshop is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.

2. Expected Behavior We expect all participants to maintain a professional standard of conduct. This includes:

  • Conducting technical arguments and debates with academic integrity and mutual respect.
  • Focusing critiques on scientific and engineering merits rather than personal attributes.
  • Respecting the rules and security protocols of the host venue.

3. Unacceptable Behavior We do not tolerate harassment of workshop participants in any form. Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Harassing photography or recording.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • Inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Offensive verbal comments related to personal identity or physical appearance.
  • The use of sexualized images or language in presentation slides or workshop spaces.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

4. Enforcement and Consequences If a participant engages in harassing or unprofessional behavior, the workshop organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expelling them from the event.

5. Reporting If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the organizing committee immediately, or reach out via email.
